I cannot order a photo book which I made in Photos

I am desperate! It took me over a month of hard work to make a photo book which was supposed to be a Christmas present. When I finished with relief and clicked on Buy Book and Add shipping address, I put a German address and a message comes, Unsupported Country, Orders must be shipped within your billing country. When I put my address in the Czech Republic, I get a message Unsupported location, Orders cannot be shipped to this location. I find this rather unfair. Apple sell products in my country but do not deliver prints. Another strange thing is, why cannot billing address and shipping address be different? In the past I did manage to have photo books delivered to Holland (our second home) and also to Germany, but now I cannot make it any more. Any suggestion?

To order your book make sure, that your billing address and the shipping address and the credit card/payment method are all set to the same county. Germany is certainly a supported country to oder books.

You set the country of the Print Products Store you want to order from in the Photos > Preferences > General, at the bottom of the panel. This country has to match the billing address and shipping address of the Apple ID you are using, when you set up your Print products Store account in Photos > Print Products Store Account.

Thank you very much, Léonie, I made it, you are my saviour! I thought it had to be printed in the US. This way it will even be on time for Christmas. The only thing is that I had to work it out in German. Do you think that there is a way how to keep things in English even if I send a product to Germany? Also I still wonder why the billing and shipping address cannot be from different countries.

The billing address and payment method determine the Print Products Store you order from, and the Print Products Store simply does not deliver to a different country.

The only thing is that I had to work it out in German. Do you think that there is a way how to keep things in English even if I send a product to Germany?

I'm not sure, since I never tried that. I am keeping the language set to English in my System Preferences > Language and region, even with the date and number formats set to German, and that is working well.
