upgrade ram PC3-8500 to PC3-10600

I have a 13" mid 2010 MacBook Pro 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, iOS 10.10.5 with factory installed

PC3-8500 DDR3 1066 MHz type RAM (2 X 2GB)

My question is:

Can I upgrade to PC3-10600 DDR3 1333 MHz type RAM (2 X 4GB) without causing an issue?

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), 13" mid 2010, DDR3 PC3-8500 2 x2GB

No. Higher speed RAM may work if it properly down clocks to your computer's slower bus speed but down clocking is not reliable and likely won't work. Use the correct spec RAM for your computer.
