My TV would turn on and off when I held down the home button on the remote. About 3 days ago that stopped working. All the settings are as they should be. Any ideas?
That would be an issue with HDMI CEC, if you haven't also check your TV settings. Refer to the TV's manual, make sure HDMI cable is secure, try a different cable and port, test on another TV and contact the manufacturer if necessary.
I am unsure if my Samsung (from 2007-2009 years but says online that I should have it but nothing listed in settings) has HDMI-CEC. What's strange is that when I first hooked up my Apple TV 4K I was able to turn the TV on and off with the siri remote. Then one day it just stopped working. Nothing in the TV or Apple 4K settings is different.

Did you check the HDMI cable and try another along with a different port? It could also be an issue that's come up with the TV itself.
