levels dissapearing when track muted!!

So when I mute tracks the level metre is dissapearing, making it impossible to know which tracks have a recordings on!

I checked Pro Tools with the same tracks imported, and this doesnt happen, I can see the metres moving when the tracks are muted.

Is this a Logic bug? Or where do I find the " view metres when muted" setting?
