Apple ID not recognized

My I-pad mini updated overnight. It is requiring activation now. I am entering my Apple ID and password, but the ipad is not recognizing it. I have 2 other ipads linked to this Apple ID and they are all working fine. I signed into the I-tunes account and apple ID is working there also. Any suggestions??

Take the device, the original purchase receipt, and a photo ID to the nearest Apple Store.

or contact Apple ID Support. They will need to see the receipt also.

Apple Support by e-mail or chat Select your device, Battery, Power and Charging, then Power adapter not working to get a chat option. If you need to talk to them, ask them if they will do a Skype or FaceTime with you.
