My old Apple ID was on an old email address. I changed my Apple ID a week ago and now it does not work with iCloud. I get popups from iCloud every 2 SECONDS! How can I change to the new ID or get rid of iCloud.

Thank you for your answer. I have this problem only on my MacBook and iCloud does not allow the sign out feature. I still am asked to sign in and it shows an old email address and I forgot the old password. And what ever I do on the MacBook the iCloud messages pop up every 2 seconds.

Thanks for trying! As I posted in my first comment the problem is with my OLD Apple ID that I changed 1 week ago on my iMac. But on my MacBook I didn't change it immediately because I do not use it on my mail accounts. And now I cannot get rid of the iCloud what I don't need at all.
The old email address you see here in the pics does not exist anymore. I changed it to another one in my NEW Apple ID and I forgot my old password and also cannot find it if I press the "Forgot?" button.

Then you have to click the "forgot" link - for security reasons you can not change the Apple ID unless you sign in with the old Apple ID - otherwise any thief could steal your device and your information

To change Apple IDs log out of iCloud in the Mac System Preferences and log back in using the new Apple ID - to get rid of it log out and do not log back in

to answer your first question: yes the current password works with my iMac, but not with my MacBook.
Try Apple ID support.
