Melodyne plug in conflict?

I have Melodyne Essentials app, which can be used a s plug-in GB. When I use it it seems to have to be the last plug in used (at the "top" of the stack in the plug in list) or it stops the other plug-ins from working. If it is first none of the other plug-ins will function. Anyone have any advice on how to fix this?
