Gen 3 apple TV remote is lost and the Apple TV want a code input to pair my phone. How do I reset?
I can’t pair my phone or another remote to my Apple TV because it wants me to enter a security code. The remote is lost, how do I reset?
You will need a physical remote to setup the remote app with the 3rd gen. If you are unable to borrow one then you can purchase a replacement from Apple. Alternatively, if you have a Mac you can try the cidertv app (Note: it will require a restore via iTunes first)
