VoiceOver Excess

I have the verbosity level set to medium. Low would be almost perfect but it does not affect the excessive repetition. Open an app, "Facetime Facetime Facetime window" is an example. There are many many instances of excess, in some cases, the same information or almost the same, is repeated 3 or 4 times. Is there a work around for this? I have not found it.
