Latest install of tunes fails

2017-12-17

Installing latest update from Itunes pushed by iTunes to me 12/7.2.6-x64

Error message both times - "serviceipod service could not be installed. Verify you have privileges. It is my lap top so I have privileges.

However now because of the fail I tunes is wiped from computer. Not good.

Can anyone help

iPod nano, Windows 8, Dell Laptop

I understand that you're unable to complete an iTunes update on your PC, and I'm happy to help. Please follow the instructions in the following support article, including disabling or uninstalling any security software that may interfere with the installation.
