Second update of High Sierra stop symbol won’t boot up!

Ran the second update of high Sierra which was stupid of me...new rule is to wait at least 6 weeks always....my MacBook Pro will not finish the update and is stuck on a lovely NO Way symbol. The only thing I can do is is command R and get to the recovery screen. So far nothing is working!

iMac, macOS Sierra (10.12.1)
