Question: Is There a Time Limit on Mail-In Repairs?

Hello all,

I'm not sure if this question has ever been asked before, but I am currently going through the repairs process for my iPhone 6. I am planning to mail it in for some GPS issues it has been having. That being said, my warranty expires in two days, on 12/19.

On the support chat, I was told that since I started the process for my repair before this day, the warranty would still be in effect. Can anyone else verify this? Also, is there some amount of time I should absolutely have it mailed to Apple by? With the holidays creeping around the corner and my being out of town, I'm worried about how fast the shipping would occur and whether this would impact my phone's warranty status.

Thanks in advance!

Edit: I see now in an email that the repair request will be removed after 10 days.
