Mac Air function keys Re-assigned

How to I change it so all my function keys go back to how they were? for example my volume keys F10, 11 and 12 now take me to the launch pad when pressed. I have thoroughly checked my settings and un assigned this, but now when pressed I just get a beeping noise as if to say the button doesn't do anything.
