Windows 10 iCloud App Logon Problem "Verification Failure"

I cannot log into my Windows 10 iCloud app.

When I put my Apple account and password in I get an error dialog box saying "Verification Failed". The box appears for a few seconds and then closes.

I even tried their dual password authentication similar to accessing my iCloud mail on the MS Windows 10 Mail App, and I get the same failure. I tried the same dual authentication password for the mail app, and then tried to generate a new password, to which that did not verify and log on.

I than deleted and reinstalled the app and rebooted the computer with no success.

I am not sure what to do next. Has anyone had this problem, and possibly found a solution?
