Speech Rotor

High Sierra brings changes, some of which seem to complicate matters. Typically one can add or remove voices from the Voiceover speech rotor in VO Utility. But either its broken or I am not dinding the relevant option. I have just one language set which is English US. But I see all of the English compact voices rotor even though most of them are unchecked. This is about 10 unwanted voices.

Also, is it possible to hide the 'Automatically select based on language" since I do only use one language?
