How can I use AirPods with Windows 7 via Bootcamp?

I can use the AirPods in Windows 10 on any computer, but not with Windows 7. It says that there are no drivers available. Is there a driver somewhere I can download?

My computer is a 13" MacBook Pro from 2010 with Windows 7 Pro/macOS High Sierra. the headphones work terrifically under High Sierra, so I suspect it to be purely software related.
