iTunes will not burn CD in playlist order

I made a playlist of songs in the order I want them in. When I burned them to disc, iTunes changed the order to be alphabetically. How do I burn to disc and keep the order I want my playlist to be in?

Thanks for the response, but one link no longer works. The other discuss how to order a playlist in iTunes. Thanks for the try, but that's not the problem. Putting a playlist in iTunes in any order you want is clear. However, I made a playlist of songs in the order I want them in. So no trouble there.

Here is the situation: When I burned my playlist to disc, iTunes burned it to a CD, but changed the order of all the songs it copied to be alphabetically, instead of the manual order I put them in. I now tried out that CD in my car, and it does play in the order I manually put them in. So I wonder why when I view that CD in iTunes, it reverts it back to being alphabetical by artist. Must be a bug in the iTunes system?

The apparent order of a burned CD may depend upon how you have iTunes display it - https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3797427?answerId=17827921022#17827921022 and https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4009947?answerId=18583827022#18583827022

If in list view try clicking the top of the column by which you wish them to be ordered in the display. Since they play correctly in the car that suggests it did indeed burn in your desired order, it is simply how you are having iTunes sort them that is resulting in the undesired order. So change how they are displayed.

The second article should work if you remove the extra forward slash.

I also do not know what kind of CD you made. An audio CD, or a data CD with media files?
