4K Aerial Screensaver Troubleshooting

Since purchasing the AppleTV 4K, I would see the same 4 screensavers (even after having changed settings to daily downloads). At some point, 2 new ones were introduced into the mix which I loved. After the last AppleTV update, another new screensaver was introduced, but now it’s the ONLY one I see time and time again — the scene with the many, many high-rise buildings. Where is the boardwalk/beach scene? Where is the winter scene? Where are the breathtaking 4K aerial screensavers and why have mine disappeared? Why can’t this feature be fixed? Surely, it shouldn’t be that complicated to finally resolve. Thank you!

I'm not so sure that it's broken, I get a fairly good rotation of screensavers which would suggest that the software is capable of delivering the promised selection. Perhaps it's something to do with your set-up or your network settings.

Also, please be aware that there are several screensavers with many high-rise buildings in them.

I agree, “fixed” was a poor word choice. Clearly, nothing is broken, but I have changed nothing on my AppleTV since installing it some 2 months ago (except for the automatic updates). Again, since the last update (tvOS 11.2.1), there is only 1 screensaver which repeats over and over, daily and nightly. I wish I could identify the geographic location (Hong Kong, perhaps?) but it’s a sprawling, urban setting beside a body of water with an endless amount of high-rise buildings. Makes no difference, though. Bottom line, it seems I’ve "lost" all the other gorgeous screensavers. Bizarre! I hope, miraculously, they‘ll return sometime soon. Thanks!

P.S. Everything else is in working order ie., network settings, etc.

My current SS in use are from LA, HK, Dubai and Liwa, my period for downloading new is weekly. How long do you let your Apple TV lie inactive, AFAIK SS will only download when the Apple TV is inactive.

As suspected, the only screensaver I can now see is Hong Kong #2. I had all the other screensavers you mentioned for 4K on rotation, including Greenland, but those no longer play. Only Hong Kong #2 will play over and over and over. Any way of getting the other ones back? My period for downloading new screensavers is: Daily. And I’ve adjusted my AppleTV to sleep after 15 minutes of inactivity.
