How do I access my messages on my iPad mini only receive iMessages.

Thank you so much I thought there was something wrong with my iPad ! So I still need my iPhone. So my tablet is better cause I call, txt, and have Internet . I just started using iOS before it was android for me. Thanks again. Happy Holidays!
Yeah the SIM in the iPad is for data only.
You can only send/receive iMessages on the iPad. So with other people using Apple products.
Are you trying to send/receive SMS on the iPad? It's not possible since it's not a cellular phone device.
I see, even tho I have a sim? My son has an iPhone when he txt me I get it on my iPad mini. But with other phones not possible?
