iMessage sent swoosh not sounding?

Hi, my iPad does not sound the message sent sound, is it not default like on iPhone?

iPad Wi-Fi, iOS 11

I turned my iPad off and on again but no change, I believe the message sent swoosh is default because there is no option for it in settings also on my iPhone. I would like the swoosh back, any other ideas? Thanks.
