why am i not allowed a student subscription, when i have a student ID card to varify I am, but I’m not allowed a subscription because I’m not in university?

I have to pay $11.99 each month because I am not in university, but it’s called a student subscription for being a student, I am in High School and have a student ID to prove it, yet I still am not allowed that subscription. Also, the other week when i spent my money for my individual subscription, I saw I had $12 or so, I have not spent any money on anything with my money on my Apple ID, I checked my money just now and have $8.00? I have no other subscriptions ongoing other than my itunes.

For the money, have you looked at your iTunes account's purchase history : See your purchase history in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support ?
