My brother's girlfriend dropped her Iphone 5s and cracked the screen. We bought a replacement screen, but it now won't turn on. The battery does not get warm when plugged in and the computer does not recognize it. The phone worked prior to the screen replacement. Is there a way to fix it?

iPhones are not user serviceable and Apple does not sell iPhone parts, including displays, to unauthorized service providers.
Maybe you should try taking it to a competent 3rd party repair shop and see if they can help you... If they can't, then it's bound for the recycle bin. Apple won't touch that phone now under any circumstances.
Who did the screen replacement? Take it back to wherever you had it done.
We own a repair shop and did it ourselves. We usually work on androids and have done a handful of Iphones. This is our first Iphone5.
Iphone 5S will not turn on after screen replacement.
