Hello everyone,
I have been having this weird Audio Device showing up in the list of my output sources recently that is called "MMAudio Device" and it won't go away. I was wondering what this is and how I can remove it from here. (Screenshot below)
I have a late 2016, MacBook Pro Touchbar 13" running macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 if it is going to help.

I also have Boom3D which also has a sound device which doesn't show in the list but is there none the less. It has to be from some audio interface or player you recently installed. I don't know the names of all of them.

Well, nothing stands out that could be related to MMAudio. However, the Audio MIDI app crashed which could be related. You may have read this before but CleanMyMac3 is one of the worst things you can install on a Mac. It should be uninstalled but that's your call.
As far as the MMAudio sound device, it has to be something you installed or tried. It's not part of High Sierra.

I have a 2017 MacBook Pro, High Sierra 10.13.2 and the same audio device.
I have no idea what this device is but it doesn't show up in the EtreCheck report.
All I can find is a folder called 'MMAudio Device.driver' in Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL. If you remove this folder, the device will disappear.

I've never used SoundCloud so I can only guess. I imagine it's there to allow higher quality audio if and when you do subscribe. I imagine there is info on their site. If not, you could always contact them and ask.
Well I found the folder and after googling a bit I found out that it comes with Sidify Music Convertor Application and has to be removed separately.
