battery life iOS 11.2.1

My phone had been doing the same thing since the update, I have an 8 plus.

I hope they plan on fixing this issue soon!

Yup, I’m done with Apple. These forced updates have seldom been good. All these apps and I have to keep everything turned off to save battery life. And they are still selling these phones!

I have exactly the same opinion with you. I am already selling the 6s plus and I will buy a Samsung or a Xiaomi for sure.

Is apple working on this? This is so frustrating my iphone 6s is 10 months old (batteru used to last 20 hours) and now after the update i charge it 3 times a day. Battery draining so fast!

Not they have said. I’m furious and I didn’t have battery issues until this update. Now my phone 6s and new ipad mini are almost useless. My husband didn’t update his battery is still good.

I have turned off pretty much everything and battery still draining. So my iphone is screwed. I’m going to an Apple store and raise ****.

So you would prefer that Apple not include the security fixes?

Test major fixes before pushing out, rendering hw unusable w no real explanation...it’s called SW reliability and quality control.

Do you honestly think they don't test? As to the possibility of fixtures for the chip issues it appears that all devices are going to be slowed down.

Same here: iPhone6s battery drain has more than dpubled since updating to iOS 11. Battery loses ~5% per hour while idling, vs less than 2% before in same conditions.

I totally agree. The update needs a rollback or a fix. My phone now for travel now has me freaking for charging places so I don’t lose my travel documents.

Probably done with apple.

And then just hope there is never a period where everyone is trying to get their batteries replaced at one time. Or their phones replaced because of the battery.

I also have the same problem. My iPhone 7 was so smooth and good with battery life when I had iOS 10.3.3. I had no problems at all. But now I’ve updated to 11.2.2 because I thought it would be already enough polished in performance and bugs. What a sh*t. Now it’s so slow, and battery goes down 1% almost every two minutes, location disabled and lower battery power mode on! Restored, hardly a year of usage, what the f.. is this? Even that I have all commonly said things disabled not to drain battery, I’m at the home screen and is working in background, only in the home screen and the battery drains so quickly. Please, somebody with this problem? Maybe some piece of recommendation? Please 🏼♂🙏-1F3FC;
