IDVD Freezes while burning, PLEASE HELP!
I am attempting to burn a 13 minute video project to a DVD and having NO success. After selecting the theme I want and dropping in my video from Imovie, I click burn and of course wait quite awhile for everything to process. The process makes it through all the steps until just after the encoding video process. Just after, it goes to the burn process and eventually spits the DVD out of my computer, but after that the "burning" message is still up and the dvd button is still spinning. I attempt to play my DVD on both my computer and in a regular dvd player, and it reads "unplayable disc" or just doesn't appear to be in the dvd player.
I have tried exporting my dvd to quicktime, except the only difference is that my title slides have become blurry in the Idvd preview option. Please help!!! I need to get this DVD burnt ASAP.
Is it something wrong with my DVD burner, since it seems to spit the DVD out of the computer before its finished burning? Or am I missing something?
Also, I used an mp3 that was not from itunes, could this be causing an error with the burning? (i have read other users posts concerning an error while burning due to a song file)
Finally, the most interesting part is that when I reinsert the DVD-RW I am using to burn the video on, it reads as a blank disc, could this be a problem with the disc I am using to burn my movie on?
