G4 Pismo question; Is it easier to just replace the whole top half with the LCD, display, hinges, bezel and wires or is it worth just replacing the hinges and ribbon? There's nothing wrong with my LCD. First the hinges went and eventually that data ribbon was sawed in half now I'm dead in the water. The unit has sat for a while and I took it apart and re-assembled it twice. I'd like to check it out before I spend any more time and money but without the data ribbon the machine shuts right off. Any ideas?

Found the instructions, thanks. Not sure I"m up to that task. What I'm also looking for is a way to fire up the Pismo on another screen or hooked to another computer but it doesn't want to stay on with that torn LCD data ribbon. Is that a no go?
I have a Wallstreet with broken hinges, removed the display completely and connected the Mac via VGA monitor cable to a 19" TFT. It runs fine with 1280*1024 resolution - the Wallstreet now just looking like a somewhat thicker keyboard.
