How can i search photos with keyword, description and / or title of the photo in iPhone device

if you added keywords, titles or descriptions to a photo on a Mac and sync the Photos Library to your iPhone with iCloud, you can search for the keywords, titles, descriptions by typing them into the search field. Your iPhone or iPad will find the photos.

It looks like iCloud is (annoyingly) the only option. I sync specific albums through iTunes and a cable, not iCloud, and searching by Keyword doesn't work on my iOS devices.
