Custom ringtones don’t work anymore

Hello since upgrade to 11 for my iPhone I can’t get my custom ringtones to work. I see them in sounds and the correct ones are set in my contacts but only the default rings when I go any call. Any suggestions. There are no ringtones anymore in iTunes on my computer nd syncing doesn’t help nor does powering off
