Browser is launching multiple tabs with Optimizely.com

My daughters MacBook started randomly launching Chrome yesterday attempting to reach a cdn.optimizely.com url. There is a random number before the cdn.optimizely.com. It launches multiple tabs. I ran malwarebytes and ccleaner but it still happens. I then deleted Chrome and it immediately launched Safari and started creating tabs with the same URL. If I turn off internet connection then it stops. We have another MacBook in the house on the wifi that does not have the issue. Any ideas?
