I disagree with you I have now the IPhone X for a month have those small scratches only from my pocket I am having IPhone since Gen 2 starting from IPhone 7 apple change something in the glass surface and it’s more sensitive ...
My back of the IPhone X is glass as well and have zero scratches ...
Really doesn’t make sense to add a gorilla glass or any protector on the screen to avoid pocket scratches
I am very disappointed from the scratches on the screen and I have read thousands that have the same complain on those scratches
