How do i close running apps on iphone X?

You just swipe up from the bottom. That works the same as pressing the home button on the older phones. It is not necessary to force closed an app unless it is not functioning correctly. There is a misconception that having those apps available in the task switcher is wasting battery, which is false. It actually takes more battery/processor if you force closed the app, because you have to start it all over again, instead of just taking out of suspension.

  1. From the Home screen, swipe up and pause.
  2. Firmly touch and hold the app, then tap User uploaded file. You can also swipe up to close the app as soon as you see User uploaded file.
