why do i have a line below battery/wifi bar at the upper right corner in iphone x

I have an line below my battery bar in my iPhone X,can anyone tell me why is that line appearing.

Grab it and pull down to open the control center.

The line will not disappear ... as long as you are on the lock screen. It is there to remind you this is the way to view Control Center.

The line will disappear when you unlock the iPhone.

It’s very annoying to have bar line under battery symbol. Is there any way to disable this line?
