I am using MacOs Sierra version 10.12.6 When copy my files from desktop to SD card, always face with error code - 36 in Finder. I have Eject many time and mount to to check if problem resolved but no success. Than I tired dot_clean even though no success with this. I do not want to reformat my SD card with Mac OS extended because I want to use this SD card for windows supported devices. Can you please advice any solution of this problem?.

That SD Card needs to be either FAT32 or exFAT formatted for operating system interchangeability. The -36 error code is an I/O error often associated with failing, or corrupted drives.

Launch Disk Utility and perform First Aid, first on the SD card, and then on your Boot drive. See if that clears up the I/O errors. If not, use a new SD card to determine if the older card is damaged and unusable.

My newly bought SDXC card is exFat formatted. I have already applied Disk utility and perform First Aid on SD card but no success. However, let me try Disk utility on my Mac Hard disk and let see if this resolve the problem or not.

Attempt to copy to the SDXC card from the iMac after a normal reboot after safe boot mode. Launch the Console application. It should be looking at All Messages. Search for "bummers" and this will list all of your I/O errors, with most recent at the bottom of those found. Click on the associated triangle to open more detail on the associated device generating the error condition.

In console search for "bummers" for all messages no list comes or show. However I tried to find that activity in console like this

disk4s1: general error.

exfat_fsync_internal: error 5 from exfat_node_update

hope from this may you find the solution.

I have tired all above mentioned, like dot_clean command nothing works. In my view only solution left to reformat SD card with OS Extended Journal and use and than lost all compatibility with other devices to use this SD card, which I do not want to do.

Try running this program in your normal user account on the iMac, then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by etresoft, a frequent contributor. Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. On the screen with Options, please open Options and check the bottom 2 boxes before running. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy Report” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown.

I don't see any software that should be causing problems. I would uninstall Antivirus Zap using the Developer's uninstall instructions.
