Video option now goes to time lapse iPhone 7

As of early this morning, I was able to slide to the video option on my camera. However, that (and slo mo) as been replaced by time lapse. I attempted to take a video with said feature and it was so fast on playback it was ridiculou! After much searching, and cursing Apple, I slowed it down thru iMovie, which is the only place apparently to make that change. I don’t like this feature. I didn’t ask for someone’s “good idea” to be pushed to my phone thru an update. I want it returned to video, which records in “real life”, not at a super sonic speed that requires several hoops (that wouldn’t even work on the iPhone and had to be done on my iPad). This is a poor decision.

Close camera app.

Go to Settings>Camera>Preserve Settings>Camera mode... disable it.

Restart your iphone (turn it off, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on)

Open your camera app and look at the bottom if the options are there.

Shouldn't be this case, try a forced restart of your device: On an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus: Press and hold both the Side and Volume Down buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Test again.

If nothing helps, I would install a fresh copy of the latest iOS (11.2.1), restoring your device to factory settings. Make a full backup of your iP7, then follow the steps here provided:

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support

Restore it as new and test it.

Then restore from your previously made backup.

Pls keep me informed.
