I have gone into settings and turned off ApplePay. less than an hour later, ApplePay notified me that I should sign up, and did it while I was reading a message. After I closed the AP window, I was able to continue with messages, and when I got done with messages I check AP in settings and it was still turned off. My wife and I each have an iPhone, an iPad Pro, and she has an iMac. PLEASE turn off apple pay prompts, notifications, and every thing to do with Apple Pay, PLEASE.

if you hit continue and you do not want Apple Pay Cash, go to settings>wallet & Apple Pay and turn off Apple Pay Cash.
