When I click on Manage Storage in my iCloud account I get the following message: “iCloud storage details are currently unavailable. Try again later.” I’ve restarted the phone but it made no difference. Automatic backups to iCloud are still working but it only tells me when the last one was done and nothing more. I’m using the most up to date software.

i thought i had this trouble too. I have the updated version of software and a iphone 7plus. When I went under the settings, accounts&passwords, icloud, and tried to manage my storage through there i got that message. But while looking around I went into settings, then clicked on my name where it has apple id, icloud, itunes &app store and went into icloud there I can manage it. So maybe that's the mistake everyone else was making? Trying to go into icloud in the wrong place?

I was having this problem and just fixed 10 min ago by following the instructions on this site https://becomethesolution.com/blogs/mac/iphone-restore-icloud-account-details-un available
Essentially it had me go to iCloud.com on a computer, go to settings, and remove the faulty device from the list. Then sign out and then back into iCloud on that device.
How are you getting to that message?
Previously I was going Settings > Accounts and Passwords > ICloud > Storage and had the same message... very frustrating
I then discovered that if I go Settings > [my name] (right at the top) > iCloud... it worked straight away - no idea why! It may work though
You could try signing out of iCloud (on the device) and sign back in.
New iCloud option introduced with the iOS 11.2.5 software. Go to Settings and tap on the name (top of the screen) and click on the iCloud and there you can manage the storage.🙂
If Lebrewski's suggestion doesn't work above, try reaching out to Apple Support -- Contact - Official Apple Support.
Are you sharing your iCloud storage? I wonder if that’s the cause.
It used to work of course even when sharing data in a family but seems it’s broken across the board now.
Thanks for the response, I’d read that somewhere but when I went to sign out I got a message saying that if I did I’d lose Apple Pay, my cards would be deleted and I’d lose all other settings. If possible, I’d prefer to avoid all that hassle.

Not sure why the duplicate menus are shown in iOS 11.2.1. They must be in the process of transitioning menus...just another glaring oversight missed by Apple's star QC!
I’m sorry, have you managed to solve this problem with Apple support? I’m having the same one( neither iCloud signing out and back in nor restarting the phone works for me... do you have any clue?! Thank you
Don’t bother. I just signed out of my iCloud account and when I signed back in it fixed nothing AND all my Apple Pay stuff was gone.
Did you find a solution to this? I’ve a family shared storage iCloud account and have this. Looked on the kids iPads and all our devices are saying the same thing so not a single one is working.
I haven’t managed to find a solution so far. I hadn’t thought about it before your response but, having now checked, it’s affecting my phone, my wife’s iPhone and our iPad too
That didn't work for me. Guess I'll have to try and get some response out of apple support on this issue. Seems strange everyone is having the same problem.
Your welcome. 😉 I’m about the least tech savvy person there is, but I’m glad I happened across this fix because my storage is about full and needed managing.
