How do I get the IPAD pro to show the "Mail" app on the IPAD

It should already be on the device.
If it got accidentally deleted you can go to the app store and search for mail app (it will be clearly labeled that it’s from apple) and redownload it
It is not at the app store, my son stated he remove it but can't remember how, since it is probably part of the OS could it be hidden?
