Macbook pro 2017 keyboard button issues.

My Macbook pro 2017 dot button is pressed twice when i press it once. So instead of this . i sometimes get this .. The same happens when i press shift and do something like this 😝 usually this is what happens :P:


The Macbook is a 2017 Macbook Pro with the touch bar.

Does the dot key feel the same as the other keys when you press it, or could there be some debris (dirt, dust, crumb...) caught underneath it?

Another thing to consider is that the Delay Until Repeat setting in System Preferences > Keyboard may be set too short. Most of the keys will not repeat when you keep holding them, so you may not notice, but the . key will.
