How to dismiss Amber Alert message from watch?

An Amber Alert came through the other nite on my phone and watch. I was able to delete it from the phone but not from the watch. Every time I swipe down the Amber Alert comes up. I scroll up and press dismiss, it goes away and it immediately comes back over and over. I have turned off and restarted both the watch and phone. I have stoped Amber Alerts for both. I have dismissed the message over and over again over the last few days and it is still there. How in the world do I get it to go away once and for all forever?

Hi badgerburt,

I understand that you are trying to dismiss an Amber Alert, but no matter what you try, the alert keeps returning. What I'd first like to have you do is the Clear All option listed below:

To clear a notification from Notification Center without reading it, swipe it to the left, then tap Clear. To clear all notifications, firmly press the display, then tap Clear All.

If the issue persists with the Amber Alert coming back, I'd then like to have you unpair and then pair your Apple Watch again. The following article has the information on how to do that:

I got it to go by turning it off for longer. When I restarted it the message was finally gone.
