Beats X volume always decreases

Hello,

I’ve had my beats x since september with no issues until this week. When i attempted to increase the volume with the control buttons, the volume would go down until it was completely silent. This happens regardless of what buttons are pressed.

I tried resetting the headphones as well, but the same issue occurrs. Has anyone had a similar problem or a suggestion?
