Safari doesn't open Google image links when I double-click on search results

Using Safari 9.1.3

After a Google search, Safari doesn't let me go to the links found of the images when I double-click on the results. When I click on the images, nothing happens. This started about a week ago and only occurs with images results, not any other types of Google search results.

I have cleared my caches and Reset Safari from the pull-down menu, as well as rebooted my computer numerous times. Any other suggestions? Thank you.
