iPhone 7 is very slow after 11.2 update

Dear All,

My 3 month old iphone7 has suddenly become very slow after updating to the newest iOS 11.2, As I understand from the recent news Apple is deliberately slowing down the older phones, does it mean all iPhones 7 will be running slow or it will depend on the battery condition and only older device will run slow.

I am really disappointed and now considering to stop using iPhone forever as I feel cheated.

Thanks for the clarificatio, so how will I know if my battery has not detoriated during the service coverage period because the phone will slowdown to adjust to the battery condition. In fact how can I verify if my new phone is working at full throttle not artificially slowed down.

Go to Settings->Battery. If iOS thinks your battery may need servicing a message will appear in that window. That feature is already there. In a future update coming soon Apple has stated that it will make battery condition more clear to the user. As we all should know by now batteries of any kind simply do not last forever. Whether they power your toothbrush or your iPhone batteries do become weaker with age.

Hi

You may have a bug.

Go to iCloud make sure iCloud back up is on Then backup now over your wifi.

Then go to settings down to reset Restore iPhone back to factory settings.

Set back up over your wifi when it asks if you want to use iCloud backup Say yes to get your apps and data back this will get rid of any bugs.

Later go to i books download ios 11 user guide & iPhone 7 guide both are free.

Cheers

You understand WRONG. Your 3 month old iPhone 7 is NOT an older phone and is NOT being slowed down by Apple. And yes, only older phones whose batteries have weakened are being slowed down, not every phone. If you are noticing a slowdown it’s not because the software is doing it intentionally. You have other issues to sort out.
