IKEA Gateway losing connection to homekit after latest iOS update

Hi


After updating my iPhones (7) and Apple TV's (4K) to iOS version 11.2.1 I'm loosing the connection to my IKEA Tradfri gateway (Ver. 1.2.42).


It was working very well with the previous version of iOS. I could use both the IKEA iOS app and also Apples Homekit app.


But now I cannot use Homekit, I'm loosing connection most of the time to the IKEA lights. The Ikea's own app is still working.


Anybody else with this problem and a solution?

I understand that since updating your devices, you've had issues connecting with your IKEA TRÅDFRI Gateway. I'm happy to provide some help for this issue.

I recommend using the steps in the following article to delete your home data and reset your accessories before setting them up again:
