suggested apps on dock are back, UGH

The suggested app on the dock that used to **** me off every morning is back. Yes, I tried to disable it again in settings.

I go to the home page, I try to hit mail or safari and miss

because right then the dock expands to add a suggestion to an app that I do not want to use. Also, the ******* app is right there. If I want to use it, it is not hard. I do not need it in the dock or I would put it in the dock.

I actually stopped using the app hoping it would not show up in the dock.

Why did it go away and why did it come back?

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi, iOS 11.2.1

It has always been an alarm clock.

Yes, I made sure siri search was off months ago when this first happened.

I reported this to feedback months ago. It went away for a while and now it is back with a different, seemingly random app. It does not pick an app I use a lot. It makes no sense and is really stupid.

Whoever added this feature is an idiot that does not use an ipad.

Hi. What icon appears beside the ***** suggested app in the Dock? Alarm clock, iPhone, location arrow, what?

This will indicate why the app is being suggested.

Have you tried turning off Siri search for the app?
