iMac not working with Silhouette Studio software

My iMac will not open my Silhouette Studio software. It seems to get "stuck" on loading the library in the software. I've tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling it, several times. I've restarted the computer, shut it down and brought it back up several days later. I've scanned with an antivirus software to see if maybe that was the issue. All of this to no avail. I'm not really sure what to do next. Any help is greatly appreciated... I will try just about anything at this point to get it back to running the software.

Processor 1.4 GHz intel Core i5

Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Graphics Intel HD Graphics 5000 1536 MB


macOS High Sierra Version 10.13.2

As this app is a third party app and appears to be the only product having issues, please contact the developers and see if you have the most up-to-date version. If you do and the product still has problems, please discuss the issues you are having with the developers to see if they have a solution.


What I can see from their website is the current production version is 4.1.206 however they have a beta version available too, 4.1.354.


If neither work (they both appear pretty old) you may be forced to retire their app and search for an alternative.
