how to type ِِِEastern/Hindi Numerals in iWork

I have two input sources for the keyboard, U.S. & Arabic.

Arabic Keyboard doesn't use arabic numerals (weird I Know) like western keyboards, but instead uses eastern/hindi numerals ١٢٣٤٥٦٧٨٩٠

when inputing the numbers using the Arabic inout source (hindi numbers) they are typed in correct format, but the moment you press enter or paste it in cells it turns to US Format (1234567890)

I suggest setting the language and region for your document to match using the Numbers menu item:

"File > Advanced > Language & Region…"
