If iTunes is apparently installed correctly try the following in turn until iTunes opens/closes/reopens normally:

You're welcome. 🙂
I'm afraid I don't know why these issues keep cropping up, but it is very frustrating. Use Feedback - iTunes - Apple to let Apple know that you're affected by this compatibility issue.

I haven't ever had this problem before, but it is probably a simple fix and is one of these: (try in any order)
1. Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
2. Go to the search bar and search for iTunes
3. Right click and click open.
4. Check for an update in iTunes.
5. Check for an update for the computer.
6. Restart the computer.
7. Try holding ctrl and shift keys as you open iTunes so it opens in safe mode.
I hope some of these worked for you! If they don't just keep playing around with it and it probably will open.

Thanks for the reply and tips Matthew
#3 I mentioned works, #4 is what caused the current issue, #5 windows is up-to-date, #6 done several times during install and afterwards by me, #7 didn't do anything. #2 don't know what that will do which leaves #1.
Are there any issues with accounts and libraries and such when you uninstall and reinstall?
Fixed by your second suggestion! The Bluetooth tray has been disabled and iTunes is running from the icon once again. Thanks!
However, why has this issue just arisen? I have had Bluetooth and iTunes, together, for quite some time now and this just happens? I don't like removing other software to make another one work, especially software that I paid money for.
Did you try reconfiguring your firewall??
Thanks,
Matthew
Just did the uninstall/reinstall and same issue persists.
Hm... maybe you have to try reconfiguring your Firewall.
If that doesn't work, can you tell me the error message that comes up when you try to launch iTunes?
Thanks,
Matthew
No error message. Nothing happens.
No need. Turingtest2's post solved the issue. Thanks for your time and suggestions both of you. Very much appreciated.
