WatchEspn not working on Safari

Hi all,

About two months ago after upgrading to High Sierra 10.13.2, the watchespn site (http://www.espn.com/watch) stopped working on my Mac. Never previously had an issue. I open the site on a new safari page, select the game to watch, enter my cable credentials in the pop up screen, get logged in and then I am brought back to the same web page as if I never signed in. This only happens from my Mac and on my iPad/iPhone this isn't an issue as I use the ESPN app. Any thoughts/feedback are appreciated. I cleared my internet browsing history as well as cache and no change in the result.

thanks

iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2015), iOS 10.3.2
