Will a third party iPhone battery replacement void my warranty?

I don't live near an Apple store or an AASP and I can't mail in my device to apple for a repair, but there are reputable third-party repair professionals in my city. I trust them. I've used them before with other devices. If I were to get my iPhone's battery replaced by them, would this void my warranty/apple care? I've read the Repair Terms and Conditions including section 1.11.6 Disclosure of Unauthorized Modifications. But I'm concerned my warranty/apple care might be voided even if the third party repair was successful and didn't cause damage to the device. Any assurance that my warranty/apple care will still be valid after a third party repair would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Unless the establishment is "Apple Certified" then it would void your warranty to have your battery replaced.

Did you buy AppleCare's extended warranty? The one year warranties for most iPhone 7 & 7+ have expired. If the phone is out of warranty you may do whatever you wish.

Or do it yourself -

Another company has offered a price match and the offer includes batteries for older iPhones as well.

You have to weigh the decision against the time left until your warranty expires. Remember, when Apple repair something the original integrity remains, matters such as water seals and so on.

Hi

Wait until near the end of January apple will then be replacing iPhone battery

For $29.00.

Then contact Support.apple.com They will send you a post paid box to return iPhone for battery replacement.

Mine took 4 days use SIMCARD in other phone if you have one.

I use my device for work and can't ship it off to be fixed somewhere for a few weeks. Not to mention I heard apple is having battery supply issues from all this batterygate stuff, so who knows how long they'd need to keep my phone. There are no AASP in my area. I think many people are probably in the same boat I am.

Replacement seals are thing for other repair professinals too. You're right about weighing the decision based on the time left on the warranty. I just wish I would swap out the battery myself, but know that if mydisplay or lightening connector fails later on down the line that would still be covered under my warranty. Some repairs I would really like to do myself, but I'd still like my warranty to apply to other components.

Is that written out anywhere? I feel like so many people are probably in my position. I should be able to get my battery replaced, but still have my warranty cover other components. What about the

Magnuson–Moss warranty act? Doesn't that give me the right to choose a third party or DIY repair?

Why can't mail in my device to apple or an AASP for a repair? The cost would surely be lower than getting the battery replaced locally and keep you under warranty.
