Have you tried going to settings>safari>advanced>website data - delete all data and then immediately go to settings>general>reset>reset network settings. Then force restart the device and see if that works.
I have this too.
Really frustrating when trying to manage 2 iPhones & an iPad.
With me it is my own (outgoing) mail server and a "plesk' certificate (not expired)
Only workaround so far is to delete account and add it back.
Apple - have you any idea how annoying this is?
Is there any way to "trust" this certificate?
Peter
Thank you...
However this is a recurring issue
1. when trust cert expires
2. When an iOs update happens.
Is there no way to "Force" trust my own certificate? You at least have the "Continue" option on osX!
Thanks for the advice though!

Have you tried to delete the account, performed a forced restart, and reinstall the account?
Is there another way other than delete the account? It is quite a bit of hassle.....
That is the easiest step.
How can I connect my 5s mobile phone to my TV?
So how do you tell your iPhone 7, iOS 11.2 to Trust the Certificate? I was able to do this on my desktop Mac running 10.11.6 but I can't find a way to do it in iOS.
delete the mail account, force restart the device, add the mail account.
